Getting the Best from Yourself and Others

Regardless of your career direction, whether it be within academic or industrial research or something completely unrelated, it is likely that you will have to take responsibility for leading and managing other people as well as yourself. Using a version of Myers Briggs Personality Typing, this course explores issues around the management and leadership of colleagues, and managing motivation and communication.

The course is also designed to help you understand your own strengths, weaknesses and personal effectiveness, and to help you create an action plan for the future.

A sandwich lunch will be provided. Vegetarians will be catered for, but participants with other dietary constraints may prefer to bring their lunch with them.
