Qualitative Research Methods: PGR Discussion

This two-day event aims to explore ethical dilemmas in research. It provides an opportunity to explore the research experiences of expert researchers. It comprises of lectures, workshops and a discussion forum for PGR students.

Pre-requisites

To have attended the Qualitative Research Methods: ‘Dilemmas for qualitative researchers ethical thinking and being ethical’ workshop on 8^th December 2016.

Key learning outcomes

By the end of this session, learners will be able to

Understand the range and complexity of ethical dilemmas that are inherent in qualitative research.
Undertake ethically sound research that goes beyond the requirements for ethical approval and research integrity.
