College of Health and Life Sciences
The College provides mandatory training for all Year 1 PGR students, and is optional for all other PGR students from CHLS. The training covers subjects on the Principles of Research Methodology in Clinical and Life Sciences. The programme will provide students with an appropriate grounding in the core research methods appropriate to their discipline.
Training takes place in Term 1 and Term 2 each year and the next sessions will be held on 2nd, 3rd and 4th May 2018. There are also compulsory online modules which should be watched and then a short multiple choice test completed at the end of the module.
Sessions with the suffix (A) are compulsory for all first year students, (B) are for students of Life Sciences and (C) for students of Clinical Sciences. Please book onto the sessions which are relevant to you as soon as possible.
