Managing Data - Opening Access Data Sets - Online module (A)

Effective research data management is viewed as an important element of a quality research culture across all disciplines. This session provides an in-depth introduction and practical understanding of the skills, tools and techniques required for accessing and managing research data. It will provide hands-on experience about how to develop and implement data management plans as required by the research integrity code of practice. The session draws on the extensive experience of researchers working on published data sets and the research data management team at Brunel. The teaching combines formal presentations, group discussion and opportunities for one-to-one discussions with the faculty.
