Careers: CVs and supporting statements for academic positions

The aim of this workshop is to help doctoral and post doctoral researchers to write effective CVs and supporting statements in applications for positions within academia.

Aimed at

Doctoral Researchers (mid stage, final stage) and Postdoctoral Researchers


Participants are encouraged to look at job descriptions of positions that they wish to apply for or are interested in.

By the end of this session participants will have an understanding of:

  • Writing high quality CVs and supporting statements for academic positions

This session will be led by a Trainer and interactive discussions are encouraged between the participants and the Trainer at appropriate times.
